I am most pleased to announce to you all that, after all the votes have been tallied, Scotland has overwhelming voted 'No' to Independence and has chosen instead to remain part of the grand old union with England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The result many believed was going to be on a razor wire, but instead, the 'No' campaign proved victorious by a margin of roughly 10%, to be exact: Yes 44.7%, No 55.3%.

Our beloved union is now secure and stands tall and strong! Long live our United Kingdom!

Technically when Scotland first became part of the union they were forced to because England attacked at took over Scotland by killing it's king. But it's good to hear they'll stay part of the union since they need each-other. ;)
