Discussion: Story ideas for the 'Cutie Remark'

In the wake of the Season 5 finale, I don't think I'm the only one fantasizing about the deluge of fanfictions that are to come from all the alternate timelines created for us writers to work with. I mean, there's the Sombra timeline, the Chrysalis timeline, Nightmare Moon timelines, and heck, even if Tirek, Discord and Flim and Flam's were only brief I'm sure a story could be spun out of them with the right amount of dedication and imagination.

For me, the Sombra and Chrysalis are some of the most rich in fanfiction. With Sombra's, think of all the war stories of canon and OC characters and how their lives have been affected/ruined by the grueling war they know they're losing; the oppression of the Crystal Ponies who are forced to fight a war and slaughter their fellow ponies, all aware of what they're doing as they do it; and not to mention stories about the Big S Stallion himself!

Now Chrysalis' timeline, now this is where it gets juicy. Remember, while Sombra is still trying to take over Equestria, in Chrysalis' world, she pretty much already has. Canterlot and the rest of Equestria could be compared to Nazi-occupied Paris and Europe, with possibly only Zecora's group the only resistance there is left. Like above, there are so many stories that could be written alone on the lives of ponies living under Chrysalis' brutal, fascist apartheid regime, be it those in Zecora's rebel alliance or the average pony suffer from daily systematic abuse and draining from their changeling oppressors, constantly looking over their shoulder for the changeling government's disguised spies who'll come for them or their loved ones in the dead of night if they say so much as a single word against the new regime. Or hell, since so many fans despise the Upper-Class ponies of Canterlot, you could describe it great detail those who've had everything they had stripped of them or those who've become collaborators to Chrysalis and betrayed their own kind to save their skins, along with other less patriotic ponies or those just trying to survive. And let's not forget all the changelings who've prospered and grown fat on love and their new privileged positions, taking delight in abusing and spitting on the ponies who are powerless to do anything to stop them.

Or perhaps a story explaining how Zecora emerged as leader of the resistance and her new Sonic-Robotnik rivalry with Chrysalis (considering this timeline is basically a pony version of Sonic SatAm).
