Gristle, a sharply-dressed griffin holding a cane in his claw, and Easy Mark, an Earth pony wearing a barrel, are standing next to a dark green bus.] Easy Mark: “Please! Chapter Three Plumes of thick smoke billowed above the guard tower, blotting out the dusk sky with an ugly, brown smog. Burning red embers danced and flickered in the air, a single stray spark singeing Sasha’s right cheek. Two girls stood, a dirt clod’s throw apart from each other. They stared each other down. The squeaky toy and Grime were already engaging in a battle of their own, leaving the two former friends alone on that tower. It did little to make the tension any less palpable. Anne held her sword firmly in both hands, and the rage-filled scowl etched on her face made it clear she was itching for an excuse to ream the blade through her ex bestie’s chest cavity. The sheer hatred boiling inside her veins could not be overstated. Sasha, however, was a different story. She remained cool and kept both open palms raised, a sign of her peaceful intentions. MLP G5 Movie: A New Generation Discussion

I'll just come out and say it: I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. No foolin'. Yeah, the plot didn't exactly reinvent the wheel and I imagine the animation will be an acquired taste, but I found myself truly impressed by the writing, the endearing characters and even the songs. I'm actually considering watching it again. Who knows? Maybe this will breathe new life into the franchise and fandom, as well as potentially refine on G4. What say you?

Hey friend, I recall your earlier plans and portrayal of Princess Imago have her start out trying and failing miserably to be the heir Chrysalis expects her to be, but would gradually learn from her mistakes and mishaps and grow fill her mother's place in a 'new generation' sequel of MLP FIM?

If you recall and willing to share, would you mind elaborating on that version of Imago's characterisation? Asking since we're planning to kill Chrysalis off in the Codexverse in upcoming entry arcs, but I would like to leave the option open for Imago and her siblings to inherit her position as villain and continue to menace the heroes, well into the far future of G5/Fifth Age.
